The Lamborghini Centenario goes rooflesS

Lamborghini again just dropped a new model. It’s the roadster version of the Centenario. Lamborghini gave us a hint at the time of launching the Centenario that there will only be 40 units, evenly split of 20 coupes and 20 roadsters will be made. Lamborghini unveiled this automotive masterpiece this week at Pebble Beach.
CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali said that Centenario Roadster embraces the cutting edge characteristics of its coupe sibling and embraces the freedom of a true open-top super sports car for a pure drive experience.” The Centenario Roadster is powered by a 6.5-liter V-12 engine rated at 759 horsepower just like the coupe version. It covers 0-62 mph in just 2.9 seconds which is only a tenth of a second slower than the coupe. Both coupe and the roadster models have a top speed of over 217 mph. The Centenario Roadster will be lighter than the coupe version as it is made completely in carbon fiber and other parts are also built in the lightweight stuff. As Motor Authority states, ‘Further performance gains come from the aerodynamic body elements as well as a new rear-wheel-steering system. At high speeds the rear tires turn in the same direction of the steering angle which leads to a virtual increase of the wheelbase. As a result, the rear-wheel steering provides increased stability and optimizes vehicle response. At lower speeds they go in opposite direction to aid maneuverability.’ For the first time Lamborghini has used a touchscreen based infotainment system. It supports internet connectivity and Apple CarPlay. The price is final and is obviously out of at least my hands. The Roadster starts at 2 million euros ($2.26M USD). By the way the price doesn’t even matter that much as all the 20 models are sold out and all the 20 coupe models as well. |

2018 Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera spied testing

The Lamborghini Huracan line up is among the much loved and successful line up of Automobili Lamborghini. The Huracan line-up includes 1. Huracan LP 610-4, 2. Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder, 3. Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo race car and the 3. RWD Huracán LP 580-2 which the company debuted last year. Well, the company just now hinted that a light weighted version of the Huracan supercar is about to join the line-up, it’s called the Huracan Superleggera. A new spy video taken at the Nurburgring is may be indicating that the model will soon arrive.
This Huracán Superleggera is the successor of the Gallardo Superleggera. Superleggera is Italian which means “superlight” so any new Superleggera model of the Huracan have to reduce a high amount of weight by tweaking the cabin and increased carbon fiber usage. We may also see a stripped out interior without the super luxurious equipments which are used in the other standard variant models. Any kind of weight losing tweaks are all the way possible for the company to make this new variant super light weighted. According to Motor Authority, “the prototypes look incredibly fast yet also very stable. They also sound awesome. It’s not clear what modifications they benefit from but expect power to be up, weight to be down and the suspension to be stiffer. Other upgrades may include a slight bump in power, perhaps with the final figure matching the 611 horsepower (620 hp in metric figures) of the Super Trofeo racer.” The debut of the new Huracan Superleggera should take place later this year at the 2016 Paris International Motor Show, or perhaps at Geneva in March 2017. |

Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4: A freaking amazing and powerful beast
With the rising craze of numerous Lambo fans all over the world, the all new Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 has just made its debut at the 2016 Geneva auto show.
The Lamborghini Centenario is a tribute to the late founder of the company, Mr. Ferruccio Lamborghini, who would have turned 100 this year. The Centenario is the new model in Lamborghini’s “One-off limited editions” just like the Reventon, Sesto-Elemento and the spectacular Veneno. As its predecessors, the Centenario is also a mind blowing piece of crazy craftsmanship. The naked edges, horizontally oriented headlights, the gouge-like air intakes rising from the rocker panels to the roof on each side of the car are enough to make it look like a wild beast and an extreme kind of designer masterpiece. The Centenario’s back end is basically a huge diffuser with six vertical fins that appear to originate deep within the engine bay, with three angled tailpipes nestled neatly in the center. Dramatic, Y-shaped tail lamps slice across the back a few inches below the Centenario’s extendable rear spoiler, which can adjust its angle by up to 15 degrees. The body of the Centenario is composed of carbon fiber and as well as the central structural tub to keep the dry weight down to a claimed 3351 pounds. At the heart of the Centenario is the naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 from the Aventador. Power has been ramped up to 759bhp, 19bhp more than the Aventador SV, while maximum revs have been raised from 8350rpm to a spine-tingling 8600rpm. It’s Lamborghini’s most powerful production engine ever. This extra power gives the 1520kg car an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 499bhp/ton – 7bhp more than the SV. The Centenario completes the 0-62mph sprint in 2.8sec, and reaches 186mph in just 23.5sec – 0.5sec faster than the Aventador SV. Top speed is claimed to be more than 217mph. There’s also rear-wheel-steering added, allowing greater agility at low speeds, and increased stability during the fast stuff. Three driving modes – Strada, Sport and Corsa – accompany Lambo’s dynamic steering and adaptive suspension. Lamborghini claims that the carbon-ceramic brakes that were used in the Centenario can bring the car to a halt from 186mph in just 290 meters. They’re located behind a set of forged and milled aluminium wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber. The front wheels are 20 inches in diameter, and the rears 21 inches. As of the interior, the Centenario’s interior features panels wrapped in carbon and Alcantara, and a pair of carbon fiber seats and generous amounts of stitched leather and micro suede. An upgraded infotainment system in the Centenario offers 10.1in high definition touchscreen, which includes Apple CarPlay and guess what, the infotainment system is connected to the internet, so passengers can use social media and email as well listen to web radio. The Italian company plans to build 40 models which includes 20 Coupes and 20 Roadsters. The Centenario’s pre-tax price is €1.75 million, or a tick over $1.9 million USD at today’s exchange rate. But the most hilarious part is that all the 40 models were sold before the car was shown publicly. Deliveries to begin later this year and throughout 2017. Ex CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann said that “It is the most fitting tribute to Ferruccio Lamborghini in his centenary year.” “A man who created an exceptional brand, believed that anything was possible and produced extraordinary, iconic cars.” “The Centenario is a super sports car for Ferruccio Lamborghini and the future he and we believe in today,” he added. Happy birthday, Mr. Ferruccio Lamborghini. |

Just in the news. Former CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Mr. Stephan Winkelmann is about to leave the Italian auto making giant. Reports from Italy claim that the CEO is leaving the company to join Audi Quattro.
With the leave of Stephan Winkelmann, former Scuderia Ferrari team manager, Mr. Stefano Domenicali could become the next CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. Audi’s Quattro GmbH division produces high-end models like the RS cars and as well as the special supercar models like the R8. Rear-Wheel-Drive Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 UnveileD
Just in the news. Lamborghini have just revealed their new rear-wheel-drive version of the Huracan. The new Huracan LP 580-2 will join the Huracan line-up.
The rear-wheel-drive model makes its debut tomorrow at the Los Angeles Auto Show and is officially known as the Huracán LP 580-2. The major difference between the LP 580-2 and LP 610-4 is that it is a rear-wheel-drive variant but at the same time, less powerful too. As the name suggests the Huracán LP 580-2 comes with 580 metric horsepower, or 572 regular horses, which is down from the 601 hp in the LP 610-4 models. Peak torque is also down, registering at 398 pound-feet instead of 413 lb-ft. The LP 580-2 packs a 5.2 liter V-10 engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It is noted that the bodywork of the new LP 580-2 is slightly different that the regular Huracan. The LP 580-2 features a more aggressive front and restyled rear. The 19-inch unique alloys are also new. The overall weight is also reduced in the new model. With the removal of the all-wheel-drive system the Huracan LP 580-2 now has a weight of 3,062 lb, 73 lb less than the original Huracan. The weight is distributed from front to rear with a ratio of 40:60. The new model now takes 3.4 seconds to hit 0-60 mph and includes a top speed of 199 mph, which is 0.2 seconds and 3 mph slower than the LP 610-4. Lamborghini have done some serious tunings for the LP 580-2 to be fun to drive. It includes stiffer suspension, refined steering and re-calibration of the electronic stability and traction control systems. The selectable Lamborghini specialized driving modes STRADA, SPORT and CORSA have also been tuned to make over-steering easier, emphasizing authentic rear-wheel-drive behavior. As in the news before, the rear-wheel-drive Gallardos were cheaper than the all-wheel-drive variants, but the same is not going to happen with the Huracan. The rear-wheel-drive Huracan will not be cheaper than the all-wheel-drive version, which was the case with the Gallardo. Instead, the rear-drive car will be a premium to pay for. |
THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE LP 580-2 AND THE LP 610-4 IS THAT IT IS A REAR_WHEEL_DRIVE VARIANT. IT PACKS A 5.2 LITER V-10 ENGINE WHICH PROVIDE IT 580 METRIC HORSEPOWER. |
Lamborghini to introduce rear-wheel-drive Huracan at L.A. Auto Show
The Lamborghini Huracan Supercar was introduced to the world back in 2014. The car replaced the most successful model, which is the Lamborghini Gallardo, and combined the lines of its big brother the Aventador to easily stand beside it.
This year the model line-up increased when the Huracan Spyder joined the team. The model was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show. Now the actual news is that, next year Lamborghini could be planning on a new model that will join the line-up of the Huracans. Possibly a rear-wheel-drive variant. Lamborghini has confirmed to TopGear.com that a special version of the Huracan is about to appear soon. And according to Autocar the mystery model will be a rear-wheel-drive version along the lines of the previous Gallardo Balboni special edition. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann has previously hinted that a possibility of a new Huracan model is there. He also added that a RWD version of the Huracan was being looked into. “We did it with the Gallardo so it might be an option”, he said. “We are a four-wheel-drive super-sports car manufacturer but why should we not do a rear-drive option? We need lots of derivatives. Customers expect it and we always need something new to talk about”. There are more good news. In L.A, Lamborghini will show its complete range of 2016 Huracan models. The new Huracan Spyder is not the only change that Lamborghini made in the Huracan line-up but also all the 2016 Huracans will receive a cylinder-deactivation system that shuts off one bank of the engine during a light load situation. To further reduce consumption, the cars also come with an engine stop-start system. The update to the 2016 Huracans will also include LED lighting in the engine bay. The rear-wheel-drive Gallardos were cheaper than the all-wheel-drive variants, but the same is not going to happen with the Huracan. According to Autoguide, the rear-wheel drive Huracan will not be cheaper than the all-wheel drive version, which was the case with the Gallardo. Instead, the rear-drive car will be seen as a more hardcore, lighter version, and there will be a premium to pay for that. It is expected that the RWD Huracan will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show which starts at the end of the month. |
LAMBORGHINI CEO STEPHAN WINKELMANN HAS PREVIOUSLY HINTED ABOUT A RWD VERSION OF THE HURACAN. IT IS EXPECTED THAT THE RWD HURACAN WILL DEBUT AT THE LOS ANGELES AUTO SHOW WHICH STARTS AT THE END OF THE MONTH. |
LAMBORGHINI HURACAN LP 610-4 SPYDER HAS JUST MADE ITS GLOBAL DEBUT AT THIS YEARS FRANKFURT MOTOR SHOW
Just in the news. “THE SKY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME,” because Lamborghini has just officially unveiled the new Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder. The Huracan Spyder has just made its global debut at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Which will be costing £205,000 and will be available from next spring. UK prices have not been revealed yet.
The Huracan Spyder comes with a 5.2L V10 engine which produces 602BHP and it’s capable of hitting 0-60MPH in just 3.4 seconds. As same as the Huracan coupe, it’s also a four wheel drive system. The top speed of the Huracan Spyder is 202MPH. The most important change in this Huracan Spyder is that it has an electric soft roof, which can fold away in 17 seconds at a speed up to 31MPH. Other changes to this model includes a cylinder deactivation system that shuts off one bank of the engine during light load situation. This model also includes an engine start and stop system to further reduce fuel consumption. This system will also be featured in all 2016 Huracan coupe models. Lamborghini also changed the design a little bit, which includes air intakes above the wheels and the lines of the Spyder. Lamborghini said that the lines of the Spyder are completely different than the coupe. Except the electrically operated rear screen, there are no changes in the interior compared with the coupe. Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated at the reveal that “The Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder is the next chapter in the success story of the naturally aspirated V-10 Huracan, and continues a Lamborghini tradition of open air motoring.” He also added that “Its predecessor, the Gallardo Spyder, was the best-selling open top model in Lamborghini’s history and we expect the Huracan Spyder to exceed its predecessor in every way. |

LAMBORGHINI TEASES NEW MYSTERY MODEL BY SAYING “THE SKY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME” AFTER FRANKFURT
Just in the news, Lamborghini has uploaded a short teaser video saying that the sky will never be the same. It’s clear that Lamborghini has planned on something huge. We can bet that at Frankfurt IAA Cars 2015, Lamborghini is going to unveil a new beast. But what can this new bull be, is it going to be the Huracan Spyder?
"THE SKY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME" - We are getting a feeling that this line is a direct reference to an open top model. Lamborghini has released the Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster model at Monterey Car Week last month, so there is a very strong chance for the mystery model to be the Huracan Spyder. The expectations from the Huracan Spyder is not much. The Huracan Spyder will likely retain the same 5.2-liter V10 with 602 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque. The only change that we will see is the open able roof. There is also a small chance for this mystery model to be the super limited model which Lamborghini will be presenting at Genenva, 2016. But the chances of this car to be at the Frankfurt IAA Cars 2015 is less than the point of existence. |

THE UPCOMING NEW LAMBORGHINI HYPERCAR IS TO BE CALLED THE CENTENARIO LP 770-4
Just in the news, according to French media, the upcoming new Lamborghini Hypercar, which was shown to a small number of special and exclusive guests in Monterey last month, will reportedly be called the “Centenario LP 770-4.”
According to French Website TF1.fr, the upcoming limited edition supercar will not be called the “HyperVeloce” as reported previously. They successfully dug up the name that is Centenario LP 770-4, which is named to honor the centenary year of the birth of the founder of the Italian car making company, Ferruccio Lamborghini on April 28, 1916. The Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4 will make its debut at Geneva, 2016 and will be a limited production model with 20 units in total. LP 770-4 means that the engine will be mounted on the rear and will powered by a 6.5 liter V12 engine which is capable of producing 770 metric horsepower (759 hp) with a four-wheel drive system. But which is more impressing that the new model is said to capable of hitting 62 mph in just 2.7 seconds, which is 0.2 second quicker than the Aventador. The top speed is said to be in excess of 350 km/p (217 mph). Besides of being a super rare car it is also going to be a very expensive car also, the price tag is said to be start from 1 million euros (approximately $1.12 million). The limited model will be in line of the previous limited models like Reventon and Veneno. But sources say that this model will be distinguished from regular Aventadors with a more track focused aerodynamics package, and will not be as extreme as the Veneno. As the name suggests, the upcoming Centenario LP 770-4 is not going to be a hypercar as some previous rumors suggested it will. In the name of Lamborghini’s first hypercar concept “Asterion LPI 910-4 Hybrid Concept Car” the word “I” stands for “Ibrido” which is Italian for “Hybrid.” This suggests that the upcoming limited edition car is going not going to be a Hybrid. |
THE NAME CENTENARIO IS GIVEN TO HONOR THE CENTENARY YEAR OF THE BIRTH OF THE FOUNDER OF THE ITALIAN CAR MAKING COMPANY AUTOMOBILI LAMBORGHINI, FERRUCCIO LAMBORGHINI. WHO WAS BORN ON APRIL 28, 1916. |

At Monterey, California, The CEO of Automobili Lamborghini confirmed that the Italian Supercar maker is all set to unveil its brand new one-off Hypercar, like the Veneno, but it will not appear publicly until 2016 Geneva Auto Show. Sources said that there is a 50-50 chance for the 2016 Hypercar being the Lamborghini Madura.
The Madura is a concept car imagined and designed by Slavche Tanevsky, a student at the University of Applied Science in Munich. The car was designed with the Lamborghini and Audi designers for the Lamborghini Raw Material Project. Well, to find out whether The Madura is the Hypercar that Lamborghini is talking about or not, let’s just wait until its debut in March, 2016 at Geneva Auto Show. Although Lamborghini have invited some exclusive guests to view the new Lamborghini Hybrid, but only in the form of an animated hologram. The new model is rumored to be called the “Hyperveloce,” which is also being said to rival against Porsche 918, LaFerrari and McLaren P1. With the announcement of the new Hypercar, Mr. Stephan Winkelmann also hinted about two more variants of the Lamborghini Huracan. One of them will be the Huracan Spyder but what will be the other one? A Superleggera version? Or what? Well, just stay tuned with us for the future updates on these variants. |

THE NEW MODEL IS RUMORED TO BE CALLED THE 'HYPERVELOCE." |
Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster Has Made Its Debut at THE QUAIL
Just in the news. The new Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster has been revealed on occasion of the Monterey Car Week in California, at the famous event The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, just after two months from its official announcement. The coupe version was 600 units produced, and sold out within weeks of its debut at Geneva Motor Show. Moving towards the performance of the Roadster version, we see it’s almost a copy of the coupe version. Power comes from the same 6.5-liter V12 engine, which produces 740bhp at 8400rpm allowing for 0-60 mph acceleration in under 3.0 seconds with a top speed of 220 mph. Although the weight of the Roadster version is approximately 3,472 pounds, which is 110 lbs heavier than the coupe version. Its removable roof is a simple 6kg two-piece design made of carbon fiber, like those of the previous Aventador Roadster versions. The glass rear screen can be raised and lowered from inside the cabin, which acts as a wind deflector when the roof is down. Previously, Lamborghini was rumored to be unveiling a new limited production model along the lines of the previous Reventon, Veneno and Egoista at The Quail. |
"THE NEW LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR LP 750-4 SUPERVELOCE ROADSTER HAS BEEN REVEALED AT THE FAMOUS EVENT, THE QUAIL, DURING THE MONTEREY CAR WEEK IN CALIFORNIA, JUST AFTER TWO MONTHS FROM ITS OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT BY MR. STEPHAN WINKELMANN, CEO OF AUTOMOBILI LAMBORGHINI." |

Lamborghini has confirmed that the production will take place in its home, Sant'Agata Bolognese, which will be needed to expand for the third model of this line up. It has been said by the automaker company that they will invest hundreds of millions of Euros in this production line up. Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann declares: “This is a proud moment for everybody in Lamborghini. The introduction of a third model line endorses the stable and sustainable growth of the company and signifies for us the beginning of a new era.” He adds: “The new SUV will be made in Sant’Agata Bolognese, demonstrating our commitment to safeguarding the values of ‘Made in Italy’ worldwide.” To purely bring the soul and the performance that one would expect from a Lamborghini, engineers are expected to use carbon fiber instead of using steel and aluminium in some of the parts. This will also include some construction of new facilities such as a new production line, warehousing and enlargement of the R&D department. The addition of a third model line will also provide important opportunities for the supplier network in Italy and internationally, and have a strong impact on human resources: Lamborghini intends to hire 500 new employees. Sources say that the Lamborghini SUV will be the most affordable and to be likely the most popular model too in the Lamborghini line up. The company is expecting an increase in sales.
